Meet Board Member, Selena Bowe


Selena Bowe has 25 years in public education in Georgia, New York, and Pennsylvania. She has been the sitting principal at the K-8 Chabad Esformes Hebrew Academy in Ormond Beach for the past five years. For the last ten years, she has served as a group facilitator for Harvard University Graduate School of Education, The Principals’ Center and seven years as an Advisory Board member for Harvard University Graduate School of Education.


Ms. Bowe’s professional and social affiliations include: Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), Florida ASCD, National Alliance of Black School Educators, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Ms. Bowe readily accepts speaking engagements to assist school leadership in “How to Create Equity Focused Schools”, and how to motivate and inspire orphans who have aged out of the “Foster Care” System.
