Sallie Rose has 32 years in public education in Florida. She began her teaching career in Orange County. She has worked in exceptional education at the elementary and middle school levels. She has been a facilitator with the Florida Inclusion Network and a Coordinator: ESE Services with the FDLRS Administration Project. Currently, she is a Professional Development Specialist with FDLRS/Miccosukee. Ms. Rose is passionate about having high expectations and positive learning outcomes for ALL students.
Ms. Rose has served on the Board of Directors of Florida ASCD for over 10 years. She has held the offices of Vice President, President, and Past President. She is a member of the Alpha Delta Kappa Organization, the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC), Learning Forward, and Learning Forward Florida.
Ms. Rose is a wife, mother, and grandmother. She has 2 dogs and 3 cats too. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, crafting, and reading a good murder mystery.
